Yellow river

A veritable river of yellow has been flowing past my house since late last winter, due to a road construction detour. Stuff like this, what Cat calls a "off-highway truck" with a 62 ton payload capacity and probably worth $1M:

And this is one of the smaller ones. Larger dump trucks than this one, large graders, crawlers, front end loaders, the stripped down frames w/engines of really large front end loaders and dump trucks. Even what appears to be the rear axles of really large off-highway trucks, twenty-five feet long and four or five feet in diameter. I'm sure I don't see everything that goes by, and have wondered what the value is, of all that goes by in a day's time.

Millions of dollars worth, I'm sure.
