Hi Rinardman congrats on your new blog. I'm not much of a Newton-John fan, though I liked her first single produced by Hank Marvin of the Shadows - actually, like a majority of Australia's postwar pop successes, she was originally British.
Helen Reddy comes from an old Australian showbiz family, and is a better singer imho.
My favourite Australian singer has really always been Lana Cantrell:
